9seed has a boho-inspired chicness that designer Temma Dahan-Newman describes as a mix of some of her favourite destinations, including Thailand, Tulum, Paris, Miami, and the California beach vibe of Santa Monica where she resides. Originally a successful handbag designer, Temma began creating coverups when she couldn’t find one in the flowing bohemian style she desired – and so 9 Seed was born!
A beautiful opaque gauze fabric that is flowy and light - focusing on simple and streamlined silhouettes, 9 Seed easily transitions from casual daytime to dinner-ready with the addition of a few polished accessories.
We love everything about 9seed and their products, but especially their dedication to creating ethical and sustainable pieces. They take great consideration of the impact of fashion on the environment. Because of this, they use 100% cotton as well as linen and other natural fabrics and work with environmentally friendly dye houses that re-use and recycle water to further continue the fashion production process with regard for the environment. 9seed also sources decorative trimmings from vintage or dead stock, and all designs are hand-cut and hand-sewn in Los Angeles.
